Its Parents' Weekend at Salisbury School, and we are well underway with eight skin-on-frame canoes to be completed this school-year. We have: set up our forms, laid the gunwales on the forms, fabricated and assembled the breasthooks and the stems and knees. The stringers are all complete and are soaking or have already been tied temporarily to the forms.

Next week, we will start cranking out the ribs and get ready to start steam-bending them into the 'cage' created by the stringers.
