No canoeing this Spring; I spent most of my time hiking, off road and on, getting ready for The Great Outdoor Challenge, a self mapped and supported hike across Scotland, from west to east.

This was just one of my campsites. Of fourteen nights on the road, eight were spent out, including one in a mountain bothy. I passed over first the Monadhliath Mountains and the Cairngorms, where I encountered, at least briefly, snowing conditions.
